2. How to use hot sauce

You may have learned in the previous article that there are many varieties of hot sauces with varying spiciness and flavors. (If you haven't read the previous article, click here.)

How does hot sauce work in the first place?”

This is a question we get a lot from customers who stop by the Hot Sauce Bar. Of course, hot sauce goes well with pizza and pasta. It is also highly recommended to use it with fried chicken and dumplings. When people hear the word “hot sauce,” they often wonder how it is used during cooking, but don't worry. The basic use of hot sauce is to pour it over the finished dish afterward to add flavor like a dressing to your own taste, to change the flavor, or to add spiciness to a dish. No matter how good or bad you are at cooking, you can enjoy hot sauce. The more you learn about them, the more you will wonder why you haven't tried them before.

Also, by looking at the color of the hot sauce, you can usually tell what kind of food this sauce can be paired with. There are three main color categories: red, green, and yellow.

Red sauces are versatile and can be used with a variety of dishes, especially pizza and pasta. Recommended for those who like to enjoy hot sauce with any dish when eating.

Green] Many have a refreshing green taste from the green chili peppers and a light, refreshing flavor from the lime, etc. Recommended for use with vegetables and seafood dishes.

Yellowish (brownish)] Many use spices such as cumin and ginger, and have a strong smoky flavor, and are recommended for use with meat dishes and BBQ occasions.

It's interesting that you can tell which hot sauces go well with a dish by looking at the color. By bringing the color of the food and the color of the sauce closer together, you can enjoy your meal with a very tasty hot sauce. For example, red would be like a meat sauce with tomatoes. Carpaccio with white fish, for example, is easy to pair with a green hot sauce made with jalapeño and a refreshing lime. Of course, not all of these are correct, so please keep them in mind as a reference when using hot sauces.

Not sure if you can use all the hot sauce? Don't worry! Don't worry. If you are having trouble with hot sauce, you can adjust the spiciness by mixing it with mayonnaise to make spicy mayo, which will further expand the range of uses. For example, it can be used as a dipping sauce for fried chicken, salad dressing, and many other uses. Once you start experimenting with hot sauces, you will find that you can enjoy them with a wide variety of dishes, and they will provide you with new discoveries and a more fulfilling dining experience.
