Heartbeat's hot sauces are characterized by the use of high quality ingredients, primarily locally sourced from Thunder Bay, Ontario, and the peppers they use are fermented using traditional methods. The fermentation process concentrates the flavor of the peppers and creates their distinctive yet balanced and flavorful hot sauces." Blueberry & Fermented Habanero is made with fresh blueberries and blueberry beer, giving it a subtle blueberry flavor. The blueberry flavor is subtle in the mouth and is followed by the spiciness of the habanero. The reduced sweetness of the sauce makes it suitable for a variety of dishes, but we recommend pouring it over roast beef, pork, chicken, or other meat dishes as a blueberry sauce. Uniquely, it can also be enjoyed with sweets such as ice cream and pancakes.

*This hot sauce is not gluten-free.
