Formosa's founder, Furio (the man on the left in the photo on the right), immigrated to the United States from Central America at the age of 14. He began his career as a dishwasher in a restaurant and worked his way up to chef, and after years of trial and error, he perfected his Mexican-style hot sauce, Formosa, to recreate the taste of the delicious homemade hot sauce his grandmother used to make more than 40 years ago. The Formosa lineup includes "Jalapeno," "Chipotle," "Habanero," and the new product "Roasted Pepper. Roasted Pepper. All of them are very different from conventional hot sauces, thick and creamy like mayonnaise, and most importantly, very YUMMY! I was shocked to learn that such delicious hot sauces are vegan, gluten-free, and additive-free. It is not too spicy and can be used as a topping, dip, or marinade for a variety of dishes instead of ketchup, mayonnaise, or mustard, so be careful not to eat too much of it.
