This aromatic oil is infused with savory fried onions, fried garlic, and spices. While new crispy chili oils are being released on after another, HSB carefully selected the one from Apostle Hot Sauce. The flavor is outstanding, the taste is distinctive, and of course, the bottle looks magnificent. This mouthwatering blend of crispy onions, garlic and soy sauce is similar to the Japanese “taberu-raayu.” Great with a wide variety of rice dishes, dumplings and tofu. Apostle Hot Sauce was created in 2018 in Paekākāriki, a small town northeast of New Zealand's capital Wellington. The hot sauce was born from a recipe that Matt and Lydia spent a long time thinking up. They wanted to share their recipe with their friends in the neighborhood, so they opened a hot sauce stand at a local market, and the response was so great that they decided to dive into the world of hot sauce in earnest. Their quest for hot sauce is not about spiciness, but rather how it enhances the flavor of the food. The flavor of the sauce, created by hand-picked peppers and the perfect blend of spices, plays that role. This desire is also contained in the brand name "Apostle," which means that we want to be the "evangelist" of delicious hot sauces. The eye-catching label was drawn by a New Zealand-based tattoo artist, and the quality of the artwork is such that it was selected as a finalist in the Best Design Award in New Zealand. Each bottle is truly a work of art.
